Recent Events
Trips & Excursions
With close proximity to London, we arrange embassy trips to London for our members to visit delegations and have a talk at their premisses. We also visit think-thanks, multilateral organisations, and others who will add to the discussion.
Social Events
Each year, the Oxford Diplomatic Society hosts a series of high-profile social events, including our annual Gala Dinner in Oxford. Members of the society are also invited to attend the London Diplomacy Ball, which bring together students, alumni, and distinguished guests from the worlds of diplomacy, politics, and academia.
Workshops
Gain hands-on experience from practitioners in all fields to improve skills and develop tools. Through our events, we host workshops giving you skills ranging from negotiations to speechwriting to policy drafting. Many of these skills are also taught during the annual Oxford Diplomatic Academy, an immersive programme designed to equip members with the practical skills required for diplomatic and international careers.
