Head Events Officer

Annelies (she/her) is pursuing a one-year MSt in Diplomatic Studies at St Cross College. She will take up the role as one of the Head Events Officers. Being the daughter of a diplomat, her life has been a story of living between worlds and gave her the opportunity to live in many countries. She previously lived in Brussels where she worked at the European Commission as a Blue Book trainee and various NGOs. As an aspiring woman in diplomacy, she seeks a career in security and defense, while pushing to adopt a feminist foreign policy in Belgium. This year, Annelies wishes to organise events that promote diversity and inclusivity, in order to create a more inclusive diplomacy within an ever-changing world. She is very excited to work with like-minded and passionate people!
