Neon Shariful (he/him) is a second year student in Executive MBA. Having worked across 3 continents in global finance and technology companies across Asia, Australasia and North America, Neon's key areas of interest would be diplomatic relations in the Asia Pacific region. As the world tilts towards Asia to becoming the economic growth engine in the 21st century, the intersection of manufacturing, infrastructure and capital flows whilst preserving a harmonious diplomatic environment is paramount. His motivations for diplomacy stems from his belief that we are all global citizens. Our industries are all interrelated and our actions directly or indirectly impact the world at large. Neon feels strongly that as the next generation coming through university, we are responsible for ensuring global diplomacy with our international peers so that we can have a prosperous life for current and future generations. While Oxford is a long stretch away from his home in Australia, his aim is to bridge the gap between Oxford/London and the Asia Pacific region. To that effect, Neon is excited to connect to diplomats, corporate executives and alumni in the APAC region and foster an environment of mutual cultural growth and exchange with the diverse Oxford community.
