Anne-Claire Legendre was named French Ambassador to Kuwait in September of 2020. Previously, she served as Consul General of France in New York from 2016 to September 2020. She was the first woman to hold this position. She was also previously appointed to the Permanent Mission of France to the United Nations . most recently she was appointed Director of Communication and Press at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
