On the 8th February PPE Society and Oxford Diplomatic Society will be hosting two head-to-head debates

First Debate Topic: International Trade and Economic Policy

  • Motion: THBT foreign aid is essential if it is true that certain countries are doomed to remain emerging economically

Second debate topic: The role of international organisations

  • Motion: THBT the United Nations/European Union have more influence in shaping global policies than National Governments?
